Try to be on time.
If the prospect isn't home when you get there, They may be on their way or they may have forgotten.  
Try to get them on the phone and find out if the prospect is on their way home,
or if you should swing by again later that day, or if the appointment has been reset.
Before you go home at the end of the day, swing by any no-show, no-contact houses.
If you follow that process, you should get 6-9 sits and 4+ sales for every 10 appointments that are set.
If an area does not produce those results, you may want to change the area where you go on your appointments.
In larger cities you will probably have a lower sit rate, but if they are home you will be more likely to have a sale.
